Vehicle Check (בדיקת רכב)

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the "Vehicle Check (בדיקת רכב)" application (the "App"), the user agrees to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If the user does not agree to these Terms, the user must refrain from using the App.
• Vehicle Information Utility: Vehicle Check is a mobile utility designed to assist users in querying public motor vehicle records in Israel by entering or scanning a vehicle license plate number.
• Features: The App provides access to vehicle technical specifications, previous inspection mileage, road test validity dates, active safety ratings, open recall notices, and an offline OBD-II diagnostic fault code (DTC) lookup tool.
INDEPENDENCE & DATA SOURCE DISCLAIMER: Vehicle Check is developed independently by avih6. The App is NOT an official government application, does NOT represent, and is NOT affiliated with the Ministry of Transport and Road Safety (משרד התחבורה והבטיחות בדרכים), the Israel Police, or any governmental agency.
• All vehicular data displayed within the App is retrieved from public open government records published at data.gov.il.
• avih6 does not generate, alter, or certify government vehicle records and assumes no responsibility for data entry omissions, government server outages, or latency in database updates on data.gov.il.
NON-INSPECTION & BUYER CAUTION: Information presented in the App is provided strictly for general informational and convenience purposes.
• No Mechanical Guarantee: The App does NOT replace a professional mechanical vehicle inspection (בדיקה במכון בדיקה מורשה או מוסך מוסמך) prior to purchasing a pre-owned vehicle.
• Legal Status & Ownership: The App does not verify financial encumbrances (משכונים), legal attachments (עיקולים), insurance claim histories, or undisclosed accident damage.
• The user remains solely responsible for verifying the legal, financial, and mechanical condition of any vehicle through official certified channels.
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. avih6 makes no guarantees regarding the continuous availability of the data.gov.il API, OCR scanning precision under low light conditions, or completeness of historical records.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, avih6 shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the App. This includes, without limitation:
data.gov.il).All right, title, and interest in and to the App (including underlying software code, UI designs, graphics, branding, and local asset compilations) remain the exclusive property of avih6. The user is granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. Reverse engineering, decompiling, extracting source code, copying, or distributing modified versions of the App is strictly prohibited.
The App communicates with and integrates third-party services, including the Israeli Government Open Data Portal (data.gov.il), Wikimedia Commons API, Google Play Services, and Google AdMob. avih6 exercises no control over third-party infrastructure and assumes no liability for their availability, content, or policies.
avih6 reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any portion thereof at any time without prior notice. These Terms may be revised periodically, with updates becoming effective upon publication on this page.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Israel.
