1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the "New Driver" application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Purpose of the App

The App is a personal utility tool designed to help new drivers log and track their required accompanied driving hours. It functions solely as a digital logbook and tracking interface.

Important Safety Disclaimer: The App must strictly not be operated by the driver while the vehicle is in motion. Always prioritize road safety, keep your hands on the wheel, and obey all traffic laws.

3. User Responsibilities & Legal Compliance

By using the App, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that:

You are solely responsible for driving safely and in full compliance with local traffic laws.
You must ensure that a legally qualified accompanying driver (מלווה) is present in the vehicle as required by law.
The App does not verify the identity, legal status, or qualification of the accompanying driver.
The driving data entered into the App is self-reported. The developer is not responsible for the accuracy of your logged hours or any legal consequences resulting from inaccurate reporting to authorities.

4. Disclaimer of Liability

The developer (avih6) shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App. This includes, but is not limited to:

Traffic violations, fines, vehicle damage, personal injury, or accidents.
Loss of driving log data due to device failure, app deletion, formatting, or user error.
Legal issues related to driver licensing or accompanied driving requirements.

You agree that you use the App entirely at your own risk and responsibility.

5. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including all underlying source code, design, logos, and features, are the exclusive property of avih6. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the software without explicit written permission.

6. Privacy

Use of the App is also subject to the Privacy Policy, which explains how local data and third-party analytics are handled. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in the Privacy Policy.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

8. Modifications to the Terms

The developer reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
