The "Lie Detector" application (the "App") is developed and maintained by avih6 as a free, ad-supported novelty and entertainment application. This SERVICE is provided at no cost and is intended for use "AS IS".

The App operates on a strict privacy-first approach: it does not require user account registration, does not maintain cloud databases, and does not collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as personal names, email addresses, phone numbers, or user location data.

2. Simulated Functionality & Zero Biometric Data Capture

2.1 Touch Gesture Simulation (No Biometric Processing)

The simulated fingerprint scanner operates entirely through standard on-screen capacitive touch events (UI pointer input). The App does NOT read, capture, scan, extract, store, or process real biometric fingerprint images, biometric ridge templates, pulse readings, skin conductivity, or physiological indicators.

2.2 Device Permissions & Local Preferences

• Haptic Feedback Permission: The App requests permission to vibrate the device (android.permission.VIBRATE) strictly to deliver tactile feedback during the simulated scanning animation.

• Local Settings Storage: Custom preferences (sound effects, haptic toggles, and UI theme options) are saved strictly locally on the physical device using standard Android local storage. No user settings are transmitted to external servers.

3. Third-Party Services & Advertising

3.1 Google AdMob & Android Privacy Sandbox

To support the application as a free novelty tool, the App integrates Google AdMob to serve non-intrusive advertisements:

• Google AdMob: AdMob may process advertising identifiers (Google Advertising ID / AAID) and coarse IP data to serve and measure advertisements in compliance with its privacy policies. Google automatically anonymizes log data by removing portions of IP addresses after 9 months and cookie data after 18 months.
• Privacy Sandbox for Android: The application supports modern privacy-preserving advertising APIs in Android 13+ (such as AdServices Topics and Attribution APIs) designed to limit cross-app tracking.

4. Official Distribution Channel

The only authorized and official distribution platform for Lie Detector is the Google Play Store:

Any download or distribution through third-party websites, APK mirror portals, or unofficial app stores is unauthorized and unmaintained. avih6 assumes no responsibility for modified, corrupted, or potentially harmful APK files obtained outside the official Google Play Store.

5. User Rights & Local Data Management

Because the App operates without user accounts and stores no personal data on external servers, data control is managed directly on the local device:

• Local Data Removal: Clearing application storage via Android OS Settings or uninstalling the App immediately and permanently erases all locally stored preferences from the physical device.
• Anonymous Diagnostics: Technical telemetry and crash reports processed by advertising partners are pseudonymous, aggregated, and automatically expired according to standard retention schedules; they cannot be linked to individual user identities or email addresses.

6. Data Security

Security of user information is prioritized, and commercially reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are employed. However, no method of electronic storage or internet transmission is 100% immune to vulnerabilities, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Service is designed for a general audience. There is no intentional collection or solicitation of personal information from children under the age of 13. If it is discovered that a child under 13 has provided personal data without parental consent, please send a notification immediately to the contact email so that the information can be promptly removed.

• European & UK GDPR Compliance: The Application respects the rights of users located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK, and Switzerland under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) through strict data minimization and zero persistent personal data tracking.
