By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the "Hofesh!" (חופש!) application (the "App"), the user agrees to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If the user does not agree to these Terms, the user must refrain from using the App.

2. Nature of Service & Ministry of Education Disclaimer

• Independent Calendar Aid: The App is a countdown and informational schedule aid designed to assist users in tracking Israeli school vacations, holiday dates, and Jewish calendar schedules.

• No Official Affiliation: The App is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, authorized by, or operated on behalf of the Israel Ministry of Education (משרד החינוך), the Government of Israel, or any educational municipality.

• Informational Nature: Vacation countdowns and holiday dates are informal estimates and do not replace official announcements or academic circulars issued by educational authorities.

3. User Responsibilities & Schedule Verification

SCHEDULE NOTICE: Official school schedules, examination periods, semester breaks, and holiday dates are subject to administrative modifications by the Israel Ministry of Education and individual school administrations.

The user is solely responsible for verifying critical school dates with official institutional sources.

avih6 is not responsible for calendar discrepancies, missed classes, or scheduling conflicts resulting from reliance on the application.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties ("AS IS")

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. avih6 makes no representations or warranties regarding the uninterrupted availability, precision, or continuous alignment of calendar data with official government changes.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, avih6 shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the App. This includes, without limitation:

All right, title, and interest in and to the App (including underlying code, algorithms, visual design, user interfaces, branding, and assets) remain the exclusive property of avih6. The user is granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. Reverse engineering, decompiling, extracting source code, copying, or distributing modified versions of the App is strictly prohibited.

7. Third-Party Services & External APIs (Hebcal)

The App integrates third-party developer libraries (such as Google Play Services and Firebase) and connects to the public Hebcal API for Jewish calendar data. avih6 exercises no control over external platforms and assumes no liability for their availability, content, or policies.

8. Modifications to the Service & Terms

avih6 reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any portion thereof at any time without prior notice. These Terms may be revised periodically, with updates becoming effective upon publication on this page.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Israel.
