1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the "Disabled Permit Check" application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Purpose of the App & Data Source

The App is a free utility tool designed to help users check the status of disabled parking permits for vehicles in Israel. It functions solely as a viewer and search interface.

All data provided through the App is retrieved in real-time from the official Open Data portal of the Israeli Government (data.gov.il). The developer does not create, modify, or host the permit database.

Important Disclaimer (No Government Affiliation): The developer of this App (avih6) is an independent developer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing any government entity, including the Ministry of Transport or the Government of Israel.

3. User Responsibilities & Legal Compliance

By using the App, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that:

You are solely responsible for parking legally and in full compliance with local traffic laws.
The physical disabled permit displayed in a vehicle, official street signs, and local municipal laws always take precedence over the App's data.
Government databases may experience downtime or have delays in updating newly issued or revoked permits. A vehicle displaying as "No Permit" in the App may still possess a valid physical permit, and vice versa.
The developer is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data retrieved from the government API.

4. Disclaimer of Liability

The developer (avih6) shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App. This includes, but is not limited to:

Parking fines, tickets, or citations.
Vehicle towing, clamping, or damage.
Legal disputes regarding parking spaces.
Reliance on inaccurate, delayed, or missing data from the government API.

You agree that you use the App entirely at your own risk and responsibility.

5. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including all underlying source code, design, logos, and features, are the exclusive property of avih6. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the software without explicit written permission.

6. Privacy

Use of the App is also subject to the Privacy Policy. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in the Privacy Policy.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

8. Modifications to the Terms

The developer reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
