1. Overview & Privacy-First Principle

The "Disabled Permit Check" (בדיקת תו נכה) application (the "App") is developed and maintained by avih6 as a free, ad-supported utility application. This SERVICE is provided at no cost and is intended for use "AS IS".

The App operates on a strict privacy-first approach: it does not require user registration, does not create cloud user accounts, and does not collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as personal names, email addresses, phone numbers, or residential addresses.

2. Important Government & Data Source Disclaimer

Independent Search Aid: Disabled Permit Check is an independent utility developed solely by avih6.

No Government Affiliation: The App is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, authorized by, or operated on behalf of the Israel Ministry of Transport and Road Safety (משרד התחבורה והבטיחות בדרכים), Israel Police, or any governmental or municipal authority.

Open Data Source: Disabled parking permit verification data is queried in real time from the official Israeli Government Open Data repository (data.gov.il). avih6 does not own, author, host, or modify the public registry.

Informational Use Only: Search results are provided for informational convenience only. The physical badge displayed on the vehicle windshield, municipal signage, and official enforcement records always take precedence.

3. Data Handling & On-Device Processing

3.1 Ephemeral Vehicle Plate Searches

When a vehicle license plate number is queried:

3.2 Camera License Plate Scanning (ML Kit)

The App provides an optional camera feature to scan license plate numbers from vehicle images:

3.3 Local Storage & Watchlist

Optional conveniences (such as recent search history and saved watchlist vehicles) are stored exclusively in the device's private local database (Room SQLite). Background updates (WorkManager) periodically check status changes locally without transmitting user data to external third parties.

4. Third-Party Services & Technical Data Collection

4.1 Technical Identifiers & Analytics

To monitor application stability, track performance, and resolve defects, the App incorporates reputable SDKs provided by Google LLC:

4.2 Advertisements & Android Privacy Sandbox

4.3 Third-Party Privacy Policy References

For more information on how Google processes and protects technical and advertising data, review Google's official documentation:

5. Official Distribution Channel

The only authorized and official distribution platform for Disabled Permit Check is the Google Play Store:

Google Play Store - Disabled Permit Check

Any download or distribution through third-party websites, APK mirror portals, or unofficial app stores is unauthorized and unmaintained. avih6 assumes no responsibility for modified, corrupted, or potentially harmful APK files obtained outside the official Google Play Store.

6. User Rights & Local Data Management

Because the App operates without user accounts and stores no personal data on external servers, data control is managed directly on the local device:

7. Data Security

Security of user information is prioritized, and commercially reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are employed. However, no method of electronic storage or internet transmission is 100% immune to vulnerabilities, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If it is discovered that a child under 13 has provided personal data without parental consent, please send a notification immediately to the contact email so that the information can be promptly removed.

9. Compliance with Israeli Law & International Scope

10. Policy Changes & Transfer of Ownership

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically by posting the revised version on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the application or its service, stored data will remain subject to the provisions of this Privacy Policy.
